The Beginning
An island, a degree, and a different calling.
I grew up in Cuba, where resourcefulness isn't a personality trait —
it's a survival skill. I earned a degree in Biology, learning to observe,
analyze, and explain how complex systems function at their core.
But even then, what fascinated me most wasn't the science.
It was how you explain the science to someone who needs to act on it.
That gap between expertise and communication — that's where I lived.
The Exodus
Leaving everything to build something real.
Like hundreds of thousands of Cubans, I left. Not because I gave up on
the island, but because I believed in what I could build with the freedom
to actually build it.
That journey — the uncertainty, the starting from zero, the urgency
of making every word count — shaped how I approach every client project.
You don't have time for messaging that almost works.
"When you've had to fight for your seat at the table,
you learn very quickly that clarity isn't optional. It's everything."
Why Industrial
The most overlooked communication problem in business.
Industrial companies build extraordinary things. They solve real problems,
run complex operations, and employ thousands of skilled people.
And most of them communicate like it's still 1997.
The marketing world underserves industrial companies because
most marketers don't understand the technical depth involved —
and most technical experts don't know how to make their work resonate
beyond the spec sheet.
I studied Biology. I understand systems. I understand precision.
And I understand how to translate both into language that makes
buyers trust you before they ever pick up the phone.
Why Exxodus
A name with meaning. A mission with stakes.
Exxodus is a deliberate echo of my own story — and of every industrial
company that's ready to move away from generic messaging toward communication
that actually reflects who they are.
It's not an agency. It's a consulting practice — which means
you work with me, not a rotating team of juniors who've never set foot
in a manufacturing facility.
